Dear friends and colleagues,

Inspired by the success of the CATFAS meetings in Aesthetic facial surgery, the CATBBAS is a similar international meeting focused on Breast and Body Contour Surgery.

The CATBBAS is a joint venture between the leading surgeons of Coupure Centrum for aesthetic surgery in Gent and the Department of plastic surgery in Free University of Brussels.

Aesthetic breast surgery is probably the most popular procedure in the field of aesthetic surgery. Body contour surgery has emerged as a major activity in our specialty due to the increasing rate of obesity in the world. The goal of the meeting is to gather world pioneers in these topics to provide the state of the arts, controversy and/or consensus in breast and body contouring surgery.

Current techniques will be presented with a clear focus on optimizing outcome and reducing complications. Controversy and crossfire sessions will be the major features of this symposium. Expert surgeons will provide us with the latest evolution of their own techniques through multiple sessions of lectures, panels and also live surgery.
